WILDWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES FOUR PROMOTIONS; TWO RETIREMENTS

Retired Lieutenant Shawn Yuhas Badge #36

July 2, 2021 – Wildwood, NJ – The City of Wildwood is pleased to announce two Lieutenant promotions, two Sergeant promotions and two retirements for long-serving Wildwood Police Department personnel.

Commissioner of Public Safety, Steve Mikulski, along with Mayor Byron and Commissioner Krista Fitzsimons congratulate the City’s newest Lieutenants David Holman and John Elwell. Both worked hard to earn these promotions, and the administration wishes them continued success in the Wildwood Police Department.

Further, to fill the vacancies left by former Sergeants Holman and Elwell, the City is pleased to announce the promotions of Sergeant Andrew Granero and Sergeant Jason Carter – two officers who are more than capable of filling these positions.

Commissioner Mikulski thanked the two new retirees, “Lt. Sean Jordan and Lt. Shawn Yuhas have served this community well. Congratulations on your much-deserved retirements. Your community is indebted for your many years of service. Best wishes.”
