Sanitary Sewer System Permit Packages can be picked up at the Wildwood Sewer Utility Administration Office.
Sewer billing and collection is handled by the City of Wildwood Tax Office (609-522-2444 Ext. 2227) in the Wildwood Municipal Building 4400 New Jersey Avenue Wildwood, NJ 08260
For after hour & weekend sewer emergencies please call the City of Wildwood Police Dept. at (609) 522-0222 to have our 24/7 emergency standby personnel promptly dispatched.

Payment Assistance
Our department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City’s wastewater collection system and storm sewer system.
In 2004 and 2005 the Wildwood Sewer Utility was honored with the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund Safety Incentive Program Outstanding Performance by a Utility award.
In 2005, we received the State of New Jersey Customer Service Excellence Award, one of only thirteen statewide municipal awards given that year.
In 2009, the Sewer Utility’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan won the New Jersey Governor’s Environmental Excellence Award for Tier A Municipalities.
In 2013, the Sewer Utility’s Stormwater Preventive Maintenance Program earned the city an Environmental Stewardship Program Award from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
In 2016,the Sewer Utility’s Safety Program received the A.C.M.J.I.F. Special Recognition Award.

S-1 Application for Sewerage Service:
Provides an introduction of the proposed project to the WILDWOOD SEWER UTILITY
Provides a conceptual review and engineer recommends approval
Submit in triplicate with three (3) copies of all conceptual engineering plans
Application fee of $50.00* and review fee of $150.00* for each equivalent dwelling unit (EDU).
The Rules and Regulations are available at the offices of the Sewer Utility
Inspection fee of $150 per EDU and connection fee of $1,500 per EDU.
S-2 Service Agreement:
Agreement between WILDWOOD SEWER AUTHORITY and Applicant certifying Applicant will abide by all WILDWOOD SEWER UTILITY Rules and Regulations.
NO fee required.
May be filed with S-1 but must be filed prior to S-3.
S-3 Application for Approval of Sewer Connection Plans:
Filed with WILDWOOD SEWER AUTHORITY after Final Planning Board or Zoning Board approval.
Must provide three (3) copies of detailed construction plans and specifications.
Engineer reviews and recommends approval to Wildwood Sewer Authority. Connection fee of $1,500 and inspection fee of $150 per EDU is required.
Review fee shall be posted according to the schedule of the S-3, subject to a maximum amount of $5,000.00*.
S-4 Request for Sewer Permit
Submitted with connection fee and inspection (as determined by WILDWOOD SEWER UTILITY).
Wildwood Sewer Utility approves.
Signed by Supervisor who issues sewer connection permit and authorizes Construction Official to issue Building Permit.
*Please submit separate checks
