Wildwood Beach Patrol New Lifeguard Application https://forms.gle/mZkiLNexAEseDmVg6
The following is the Wildwood Beach Patrol schedule beginning May 25, 2024:
Lifeguards will be on duty Memorial Day Weekend 5/25-5/27, and the following weekends 6/1-6/2 and 6/7-6/8 at a limited number of beaches from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Beginning Saturday, June 15, lifeguards will be on duty daily at a limited number of beaches. If necessary, areas that bathers will not be permitted to swim in will be designated by red flags with the international “no-swimming” symbol on them. If necessary, bathers will be directed to the guarded beaches. This will be the standard operating procedure until the beach patrol is fully staffed.

Hard-wire (electric) smoke alarms are required to be replaced if they are 10 years or older their manufacture date. This date is on the back of the smoke alarm. If no date, then it is over 10 yeas old.
As of January 1, 2019, all battery operated smoke alarms are to be replaced with 10 year sealed-battery operated units for building that were built prior to 1977. Please make sure when you purchase, they have the seal designation of "UL Listed". These are federally regulated. The Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve (JC NERR) is one of the 28 national estuarine reserves created to promote the responsible use and management of the nation’s estuaries through a program combining scientific research, education, and stewardship
