has negative physical and mental health impacts on youth, whether it’s vaped, smoked, or taken orally
can have life-long harmful consequences, including an increased risk for substance abuse/addiction
impairs the brain that develops until at least age 25
In the coming months, the City of Wildwood, Wildwood Police Department, and Code Enforcement will seek to reeducate and work with tobacco and vape distributors to make sure that they know the law. Our goal is to protect kids, and we plan to do that in unison with businesses that sell these products.
