HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW & HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST

The City of Wildwood Parks & Recreation and The Wildwood Fire Department are sponsoring a Holiday Light Show and House Decorating Contest beginning December 11, 2020.

Homes in Wildwood, North Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, and West Wildwood participated for this first-ever event! The community welcomes year-round residents and visitors alike to enjoy this new holiday event that is sure to become tradition.

The Holiday Light Show will take place December 11, 12, 18, 19 every half-hour starting at 5pm until 8pm. The light show lasts approximately 20 minutes at Holly Beach Park located at 123 E. Andrews Avenue in Wildwood, NJ.

CONTEST DETAILS

1. By December 10th, check The City of Wildwood website, Facebook or Twitter to get the list of houses.

2. The list will be arranged so that you can visit every house on the list and your last stop will be The HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW at Holly Beach Park to vote for your favorite House. A voting drop box will be located in the center of the park each night.

3. Homes should be viewed from the street only. Do not enter the properties.

4. There are four categories judged by a chosen panel of judges:

   1. Most Original

   2. Most Traditional

   3. Best Front Porch

   4. Griswold Family Christmas

5. For those who cannot participate in person, the City of Wildwood will provide an online voting option for the People’s Choice Award. https://pollunit.com/polls/br-jr03tt11_e_0vx0skfw

6. Prizes will include gift certificates to various local restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations, etc. Judges will award one first place winner and one runner up for each category.

7. Winners will be announced on Sunday, December 20, 2020, on the City of Wildwood website and social media pages.
