Parking Meters Activated 5/9/24 - 10/31/24.

The City of Wildwood would like to make the public aware of several parking changes for the 2024 season. 

Parking rates will increase tomorrow, May 9, 2024, to coincide with the early activation of the parking meters which will run through October 31, 2024. This change was approved tonight in the Board of Commissioners meeting and is proposed for this year only.

Additionally, it has been determined that parking rates need to be permanently increased to offset a tax rate increase, to alleviate parking deficiencies, and to reduce congestion in high traffic areas for the health, safety, and welfare of the community. The last parking rate increase was in 2013.

The new parking rates will be:

• $3.00 per hour on New Jersey Avenue (from 26th Avenue to Cresse Avenue) and all side streets to, but not including Pacific Avenue; and

• $4.00 per hour on Pacific Avenue (from 26th Avenue to Cresse Avenue) and all side streets to, but not including Atlantic Avenue; and

• $5.00 per hour on Atlantic Avenue (from 26th Avenue to Cresse Avenue) and all side streets to the Boardwalk.
