Coordinator of Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) and Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP)


The City of Wildwood is looking for an individual to coordinate its UEZ Program consisting of Wildwood, North Wildwood, Wildwood Crest and West Wildwood. The coordinator will manage all aspects of the UEZ program including facilitating the application and assisting qualified businesses to enter the program, marketing and promoting the program and other related duties as directed by the UEZ Board of Directors.


The coordinator will also manage the City’s Neighbor Preservation Program. Funded by a New Jersey Department of Community Affairs grant for an initial 5-year period, the program aims to revitalize a targeted area on Pacific Avenue in the City of Wildwood. Working with a municipal appointed advisory committee, the coordinator is charged with developing a comprehensive revitalization plan identifying neighborhood needs, assets and challenges to achieve strategic goals. The position requires extensive outreach and relationship building to encourage the input and support of key business, residential, and community based stakeholders.


The position will be supported by city administration, staff and outside professionals in meeting technical requirements of the programs.
