About Us


The Doo Wop Preservation League / Doo Wop Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1997. Our mission is to foster awareness and appreciation of 1950s–1960s popular culture, and to promote the preservation of the largest collection of mid-20th-century resort architecture in America—right here in Wildwood, NJ. This unique architectural style is affectionately known as "Doo Wop" architecture.
