⚠️ Important Weather Alert from the City of Wildwood Office of Emergency Management


A strong coastal storm is expected to impact our area beginning late tonight (10/11) and continuing through Monday.


🌊 Coastal Flood Warning

A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect from 8 a.m. Sunday through 8 p.m. Monday.


Moderate flooding is likely, with the potential for major flooding during high tide cycles.


High tide times (Back Bay areas):


-Sunday at approximately 1:00 p.m.


-Monday at approximately 2:00 a.m.


-Monday afternoon at approximately 2:15 p.m.


Flooding may continue for several hours after the listed high tide times.


Residents in low-lying or flood-prone areas should move vehicles to higher ground and take steps to protect property. Do not drive through flooded streets—water depth may be greater than it appears.


💨 High Wind Warning

A High Wind Warning is also in effect from 11 a.m. Sunday through 6 a.m. Monday.


Expect northeast winds of 30–40 mph, with gusts over 50 mph.

Please secure outdoor furniture, decorations, and other loose items.


🌧️ Rainfall

Heavy rain is also possible, with 1 to 3 inches of precipitation expected Sunday.


Please monitor official forecasts and updates closely and remain weather aware throughout the storm.
