Boardwalk Business Owners – We Hear You

Photo: BCMF Facebook

The Commissioners and Barefoot Country Music Fest staff have heard concerns about the 8-foot wall erected along the boardwalk on the four blocks between Schellenger and Spicer Avenues. This wall is to prevent large crowds from gathering on the boardwalk and to keep the boardwalk clear for multiple safety issues including the safe transport of tram cars. This will also prevent overcrowding and allow pedestrians to access your boardwalk businesses.

The beach access points are guarded but not blocked, so you can expect the air and 30,000-40,000 concert goers to freely flow to your businesses over the four-day festival just like we have seen with past successful events.

Let’s all remember that the point of these events is to attract visitors to the Wildwoods – some for the first time. Our goal is to provide a memorable experience so that they come back with their families for future visits. BCMF will rock them on the beach; you rock them off the beach.

Thank you for your cooperation.
