WILDWOOD 2023 SUNDAY NIGHT SUMMER CONCERT SERIES IS BACK

WILDWOOD, NJ – The City of Wildwood is pleased to announce the return of Sundays in the Park – The Fox Park Amphitheater FREE Concert Series. The free concerts take place 7:30pm every Sunday night from July 2nd through August 27th.


Commissioner Krista Fitzsimons is delighted with this year’s line-up. “We are proud to provide an almost entirely new line up of extremely talented bands this year. Collectively, they represent the past 70 years of the best music in America.”


Sundays in the Park is proudly sponsored by The City of Wildwood Tourism Development Commission (TDC) established to promote tourism and attract visitors to The City of Wildwood. The goal is to provide opportunities for families to make memories year after year.


The Joe Stamile Amphitheater at Fox Park is located on Ocean Avenue between Montgomery and Burk. Concertgoers should be sure to bring a chair and beach blanket.

July 2: Uptown Band

The exhilarating musical synergy that Erich Cawalla & The Uptown Band has created with audiences in their home region of the Northeast and beyond continues to grow. Since 2006, they have been an AWARD-WINNING PREMIER CHOICE as the featured act at almost 2000 shows. Based in Reading PA, Erich Cawalla & The Uptown Band has earned a solid reputation as one of the country's most versatile and respected live bands.


Recently, they were the band of choice at the real-life fairy-tale wedding which featured Disney Legend and original voice of The Little Mermaid, Jodi Benson. The wedding video became a viral sensation with over 20 million views with The Uptown Band having a front seat to this One-of-a-Kind performance.


The Uptown Band's clients include military officials, professional athletes, government entities, federal judges, governors, senators, entertainers, corporations, non-profit organizations...the list goes on and on. They continue to earn industry awards including Wedding Wire's Couples' Choice Award, The Bash's Best of Gigmasters, Gigmasters' Lifetime Award, 2x Rising Star Award, Gold Member Award, and four nominations as the Best Variety/Dance Band at the Central Pennsylvania Music Awards, winning the award in 2022. Original recordings of The Uptown Band have also received radio placement across the world, including Music Choice on National Cable TV.


July 9: The Chiclettes & Tommy C

The Chiclettes from The Supremes to Chaka Khan, Lesley Gore to Donna Summer, Aretha Franklin to The Pointer Sisters… The Chiclettes (with The Coda Band) will get you moving with their high energy tribute to female artists through the decades! Performing hit after hit, they remind us of the remarkable contributions these artists made to pop music through the years. They have shared the stage with many Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, and also use their harmony talents to back up artists like Little Anthony, Bobby Rydell, Eddie Holman, Darlene Love, Frankie Avalon, Bobby Wilson & more. They have appeared on NBC, PIX, QED TV & CBS radio in addition to venues of all types & sizes, and social media events around the country. They are also repeat performers on the Time/Life© sponsored Malt Shop Memories Cruise yearly. Wherever they perform, the combination of energetic talent and live renderings of some of the greatest songs ever recorded always leaves a lasting impression.

July 16: The Mahoney Brothers

A Beatles Cover band. The Mahoney Brothers began their musical career working with the Broadway production of "Beatlemania" and have starred on stage in "Dick Clark’s Golden Age of Television", "Legends in Concert" and "Wolfman Jack's Rock and Roll Revue". They have performed internationally for over twenty-five years and their television credits include appearances on CBS, The Nashville Network, The Disney channel, and MTV.


July 23: The Sensational Soul Cruisers

An 11-man horn group fronted by four soulful vocalists who pay homage and tribute to classic performers from Otis Redding and the Drifters to Barry White and the Commodores. With a lifetime of study and hard work, this group captures and emulates the distinctive style, skill, and choreography of a classic show band. Former members of famous R & B and smooth soul groups, they now work together as individuals with their own sound and delivery and as a vocal harmony group that is beyond comparison.


July 30: Inferno's Band Description

For over 4 decades, The Infernos have raised the bar in NJ entertainment with a collection of music that appeals to a wide range of audiences. From costume changes to crowd interaction, Top 40 hits to the best of the classics, The Fabulous Infernos offer a brand-new, high-quality show that will keep you on the edge of your seat! August 6: AM Gold Band Description

AM Gold is a tribute band that specializes in the decade of hit songs from 1975 to 1985 known as Yacht Rock Artists include Hall & Oates, Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross, Steely Dan, Michael McDonald and many more!


August 13: 80's Revolution Band Description

80’s Revolution is the ultimate party show band highlighting the hits that drove people to the dancefloor in the incredible, decadent 80’s. No detail is missed, from the neon to the leg warmers, 80’s Revolution takes you back in time, when Pat Benatar, Def Leppard, Journey, The Outfield, Michael Jackson, ABBA, Loverboy, Cindi Lauper, Rick James, Madonna, and Van Halen ruled the airwaves. From Dance Pop to New Wave to Hair Band Rock, 80’s Revolution covers the era like no other band.

This is not a bar band, but a show band, featuring three of the hottest lead singers to grace the stage. Sharing the stage with Gloria Carpenter and Chelsey Elise Caulfield, and Katie Lynn Joel…please welcome our newest additions to the 80’s Revolution Band, Laura Turk and Gianna Hodes who will be alternating subs for the third girl spot, when necessary, at performances. These girls are known for being in some of New Jersey’s top party bands. They come together to form a rockin’ trifecta, delivering powerful lead vocals and harmonies like no other.


August 20: The FM Band

FM band has been together for 20-plus years now. The members have a combined experience of over 125 years! Some of the players and singers have played across the United States and around the world, from the smaller stages of Disney World, to some of the biggest venues in the world including Madison Square Garden. They are the premier party band of Pennsylvania, NJ, & Delaware areas and play several clubs and casinos, from Philadelphia to the Jersey Shore Points.


August 27: Don't Call Me Francis

Don’t Call Me Francis is a nine-member ensemble capable of performing every style of music, both past and present. DCMf’s sole purpose is to make the audience get out of their seats and dance along with songs that have dominated the charts for years. This band generates amazing and explosive energy from the beginning of the night to the very end. DCMF is the ultimate party band!
