As Commissioner of Public Safety, I would like to recognize and congratulate Ernie Troiano III for his promotion to the position of Chief of the Wildwood Fire Department. Ernie has dedicated his life to the city since August 28, 2002.
I would also like to recognize and congratulate Daniel Dunn on his promotion to the position of Deputy Chief of the Wildwood Fire Department. Danny began with the Wildwood Fire Department in January 2004.
Both of these upstanding gentlemen were promoted Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at the City of Wildwood’s live stream of the Board of Commissioners meeting. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a swearing-in ceremony will be held at a later date.
Please help me to welcome our new Chief and Deputy Chief with a warm, heartfelt congratulations on a job well done. We wish you enduring success and safety in your new positions.
